The worm gear reducer is a power transmission mechanism that uses the speed converter of the gear to reduce the number of revolutions of the motor (motor) to the desired number of revolutions and obtain a larger torque. In the mechanism currently used to transmit power and motion, the application range of the reducer is quite wide. The selection of the worm gear reducer mainly considers three aspects, calculating the speed ratio, calculating the torque, and the direction of the input shaft.
Worm gear reducer selection method:
1. Calculation of speed ratio: try to choose a reduction ratio close to the ideal, the calculation method of speed ratio is as follows: reduction ratio = motor speed (standard speed 1400) / reducer output shaft speed;
2. Calculate the torque: For the life of the reducer, the calculation of the torque is very important, and it is necessary to pay attention to whether the maximum torque value of the acceleration exceeds the maximum load torque of the reducer;
3. Determine the direction of the output and input shafts: the reducer has a horizontal type and a vertical type, and the directions of the output and input shafts are as follows: L direction: single input and single output, the input shaft is at the right end, and the output shaft is at the front; R direction: single input and single output , the input shaft is at the left end, the output shaft is at the front; V direction: single input and double output, the input shaft is at the left end and the double output shaft is at the front/back; W direction: double input and single output input shaft is at the left and right ends, and the output is at the front; F Direction: double input and double output, the input shaft is at the left and right ends, and the output is at the front/rear;
